Our Story

I am Emma-Klara, I’m a passionate lover of flowers and the founder of Almflorale!

Nothing gives me more peace, joy and energy than going out in the garden, connecting with my senses and start noticing the incredible nature around me. Picking flowers and arranging them has been my preferred activity of choice as long as I can remember. As a child I knew all the meadows around our house by heart. I knew exactly when to expect the first lily of the valley in the forest and when the red clover was at its most vibrant before turning brown. Maybe it shouldn’t have come as the suprise that it did that I 20 years later, finally put my hands in the soil and whole heartedly discovered gardening for myself. It was a life changing event to put it lightly! Like rediscovering an old friend after years apart. Growing my own flowers has opened up a whole new world of possibilities for my arrangements. Its color, shapes and textures never seize to amaze me and I constantly find new combinations out in the wild that I can use in my work.

As a photographer and floral designer, I love creating imaginary worlds. When the world sometimes feel too grim, giving myself and others a plattform to connect with ourselves through creativity is something that gives my life so much meaning.
